Investors In People logoInvestors In People

One of the features of a successful school is that it is a school where all the staff members are competent and confident in their jobs. Bitterne CE Junior School has been recognised as an Investor in People, meeting the high national standards of the IIP framework.

An Investor in People:

  • makes a public commitment to develop all employees in order to achieve its objectives.
  • regularly reviews the training and development of all employees.
  • takes action to train and develop individuals on recruitment and throughout their employment.
  • evaluates the investment in training and development to assess achievements and make further improvements.

We receive a visit regularly from an IIP Assessor to check that we are sustaining the high standard required and that we are providing organisational improvement through effective high quality staff development.
